The Startup Business Campus on the 13th of May hosted an Ideathon as an implementing partner. The event was led by ITWeb, Geekulcha, Snode as well as Telspace Systems Africa. The participants gathered into the Startup Business Campus oozing with excitement as they were willing to maximize the opportunity to learn and to have an intensive brainstorming session with mentors and industry experts on how to create and develop cyber security solutions. The Ideathon had the following objectives, first and foremost to introduce the hackathon which will be held on the 6th and the 7th of June at the Sandton Convention Centre as the Security Summit Hackathon. Secondly were the insights gathering.
The participants learnt from industry experts on a range of topics, best practices and how to tackle the challenges faced. Thirdly, was the ideating of the solutions. With guidance from mentors, the participants worked in groups to come up with ideas to work on during the hackathon. We would like to send a special thanks to the CEO of ITWeb Mr. Ivan Regasek, and the MD and Founder at Custodian Advisory Services and Mr. Lucky Litelu the Executive Chairman of the ICRD Group Holdings.
